My Dad was a very special person in my life. He was always loving and supportive of me and my decisions. He worked all his life as a pipe layer in BC and never took a vacation until the summer of 07. He came to visit me and my family in Newfoundland to see his 2 grandsons Tanner (who was 4yrs old at the time) and Jayden (1 yrs old at the time).He stayed for Tanner's 4th birthday which was on Aug 14th and instead of taking his return flight home to BC, he bought a car in NL and wanted to drive home. He went out to see my mom Sheila (his ex-wife who he never seen in 18 yrs) with me and the boys. They got along well just like old times, God must have turned back the clock for me just that one time so I could remember how my family was before the divorce. We had a good visit. When Dad was driving back to BC he got as far as Stephenville and that is where the accident happened. It was a one car accident on a sharp turn where his car went off the road and he was ejected from the vehicle and thrown in a pond where he drowned. I cried and cried when I heard the news I loved him so much and still miss him now even though almost 2 yrs have passed. He is my Guardian angel and he will always watch over me. I love you Daddy, may you spread your wings and soar forever in the kingdom of Heaven with God.
